Sustainable commitment

We are consistently reducing emissions – with clear targets, effective measures and true commitment.

Our contribution to climate protection

The Kalaidos Swiss Education Group is systematically reducing its CO₂ emissions – with measurable targets, concrete measures, and an annual carbon footprint. As part of the Klett Group, we align with the EU's climate objectives and contribute to the ecological transformation.

Climate policy of the Kalaidos Swiss Education Group

We are systematically reducing our CO₂ emissions – based on an annual, certified carbon footprint. We focus on areas with the highest environmental impact: mobility, energy, catering, and procurement. Our progress is measurable and transparent.

Climate targets through 2050

Since 2021, we have been systematically reducing our CO₂ emissions. Our goal for 2028 was to reduce our emissions subject to compensation by 19.3 %. In 2024, we exceeded this target, with emissions of 837 tonnes and a reduction of 27.3 % compared to 2021. By 2050, we aim to reduce emissions by 90 % – without flat-rate offsetting, in line with the EU’s target path.
