The Kalaidos Swiss Education Group is systematically reducing its CO₂ emissions – with measurable targets, concrete measures, and an annual carbon footprint. As part of the Klett Group, we align with the EU's climate objectives and contribute to the ecological transformation.
We are systematically reducing our CO₂ emissions – based on an annual, certified carbon footprint. We focus on areas with the highest environmental impact: mobility, energy, catering, and procurement. Our progress is measurable and transparent.
Since 2021, we have been systematically reducing our CO₂ emissions. Our goal for 2028 is to reduce our emissions subject to compensation by -19.3 % – in 2023, we already achieved -17.2 % with 953 tonnes. By 2050, we aim to reduce emissions by 90 % – without flat-rate offsetting, in line with the EU’s target path.
Our carbon footprint is audited annually and currently certified with the Bronze Label by Swiss Climate.
Our carbon footprints from 2021 to 2023 have been audited and verified in line with Swiss Climate’s standards.
