Innovation in Education: Redesign of the Independent Grammar School

Andreas Schubiger, Member of the Board of Directors of Academia Engiadina and expert in educational matters, and Nicolas Brandenberg, Head of Educational Innovation and Business Development at Kalaidos Swiss Education Group, discovered shared visions for education at their very first meeting. This led to a collaboration that brings together innovation, new learning models and technological developments.

The focus lies on a learning medium designed to prepare students for the Swiss Federal Matura, enabling personalised and self-directed learning. While Academia Engiadina is responsible for implementation and testing on site, Kalaidos contributes its decades of experience in teaching materials and educational technology. The aim is to create a flexible, individualised curriculum that adapts to the learner rather than the other way around. The focus is equally on personal development and professional maturity.
